I was able to catch this on video. She hasn't mastered crawling yet but give it a day or two and she will be all over the place.

I think Maddie is ready...

To be potty trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She found her way from our living room, all the way to the bathroom. It only took a few minutes, I watched and photographed the movement!

March of Dimes

This year and probably many years to come, I have decided to walk for the March of Dimes. I was incredibly lucky to be able to give birth to full term, healthy twin girls. I have many friends that have not been so lucky. So in honor of all of them, their struggles and their babies, I have decided to walk and help raise money to fund research. "The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality." Please check out my page and donate to this cause.

Anyone home??? Morgan is now crawling more forward than backwards. She isn't super fast yet(thank goodness) but its forward motion. Here she is crawling through to Maddie's side of their play house. And for the record, she did ring the doorbell before entering.

Fun with Daddy! They love the weekends when Daddy is home to play with all day. Maddie was laughing so hard.

Riding Shotgun!

We went to BJ's Wholesale Club today. We need some groceries and supplies. Since they have double shopping carts (only store around), we decided to see how they would do riding shot gun. Even though we couldn't get them both to smile at the same time. They loved it. They charmed everyone in the long checkout line.

POTD #50

Sorry this is a day late. Jeff stayed home with the girls yesterday so that I could have a much desired and needed afternoon out with a good friend. We went out to lunch and then got a heavenly massage. But then I had to rush home to head to Jeff's parents house for a Mid Winter Blues Party. It was lots of fun but we got home late. So here is the picture from yesterday.

My grandfather, the girls' great grandfather made them little wooden cars. They are so cute and I pulled them out yesterday and the girls LOVED them.

8 months old!!!!

8 months old!!

Where did the last 8 months go? My girls are getting so big and full of personality. Here are some of the fail pictures. There are a bunch more but these four are the best.


Also you will notice that I have "marked" my pictures. I will try to keep it out of the way of the cuteness but I need to protect my pictures so they don't get stolen. And trust me when I say, it happens.

Maddie LOVES the basket of burp clothes under our coffee table. She gets into it every day. Finally, I was able to catch her on film.

Target!!!

Over the last 7 months, 4 weeks and 2 days, I have taken the girls out of the house a bunch of times by myself. But today, I took them out to run an errand by myself. We went to Target to return some stuff and buy more stuff! I love that store. The girls did GREAT! Everyone in the store thought they were adorable, it's good that the people of Target have great eye sight.
We played a ton and ate well. Maddie put some puffs in her mouth all by herself today. It was very cool. When I clapped and hoorayed, she got the biggest proudest smile on her face. She is so sweet.

It's Friday and they are cute!

Two very obvious statements!!! The girls and I had a fun day as usual. The only exciting thing that happened today was that Morgan was able to Puffs in her mouth all. by. herself!!!! YAY!! Maddie was contemplating it, so tomorrow will probably be her day. Big sister Sophia is with us for the next few days! The girls are going to be so happy when they see her in the morning.

Here is a video for you. Someone (me) taught Morgan to raspberry. When she does it, it is more spitting. I got a nice shower of it after their bath tonight.


Morgan is now covering some serious ground going backwards.

An update!!!

Sorry I have been MIA with updates. I was sick and then I got a bad case of the lazies. Not a ton is new, so I will give you the highlights.

Both Madison and Morgan's teeth have broken through! They both have 2 little white teeth! They are moving around like crazy. Not crawling but rolling and stretching and inch worming around. They love playing with each other now. Read: poking and sticking fingers in each others' eyes and mouth. Sometimes they will just look at each other and start smiling and laughing. It is THE best sound in the entire world. They are also into binky (pacifier) stealing. Maddie and Morgan are so much fun to play with.
